The winners of the Student Org Power Hour are: In first place, the Orange Pulse Dance Troupe; in second place, Zeta Phi Eta; and in third place, WJPZ Radio.

Thank you to Senior Vice President Allen Groves and the Student Experience team who donated an additional $1,000 to split between the top three student organizations.

The 12 student organizations that encouraged the highest number of unique donors to make a gift during the Power Hour will go on to compete in the Spring Student Organization Challenge with additional opportunities to fundraise and network with alumni!

We’ve shown the power of the Orange community by exceeding our 4,444 donor goal! There are 15 minutes left in the Student Org Power Hour where 18 student organizations are competing for a place in the Spring Student Organization Showcase and an additional $1,000 to split between the top three student orgs with the most unique donors. Let’s show what Orange can do, together!

If you missed it, watch the 9 a.m. show which offered an opportunity to meet InclusiveU students; meet a professor using sea urchins to study climate change; learn about Syracuse’s new Institute for Democracy, Journalism and Citizenship; and discover how the College of Engineering and Computer Science is expanding!
